Candle burn times will vary depending on the size of the wick, and the overall candle size. Container candles will have a different burn time than votives and mold candles.

The burn time provided below represents the approximate time for container candles.

A 2oz candle, with proper maintenance, each 2oz candle has a burn time of approximately 10-16 hours.

A 4oz candle, with proper maintenance, each 4oz candle has a burn time of approximately 20-25 hours.

8oz candle, with proper maintenance, each 8oz candle has a burn time of approximately 40-48 hours.

What's The Difference Between Soy And Paraffin Wax?

Soy wax is derived from natural soybeans. Paraffin wax comes from petroleum, oil shale, and coal. Soy wax is a clean-burning alternative to paraffin wax.

While there are no candles that are soot-free, soy wax releases a lower amount of soot in comparison to paraffin and is considered a cleaner alternative.

Are The Candles Made From Only Fragrance Oils?

Our candles are made from both fragrance and essential oils. Fragrance oils are formulated using a variety of aromatic ingredients created by scientific and natural methods. We source our oils from suppliers that provide fragrances that are phthalate, paraben-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and IFRA compliant.

How Often Should I Trim The Wick?

Always trim the wick every time before lighting a candle. First, snip the burnt end of the wick to reduce it to about ¼ an inch. Also, after every 4-6 hours of burning, put out the candle, and allow it to cool before trimming the winning. Afterwards, you can light the candle again. Trimming prevents smoking and prolongs the candle's life by up to 25%.

How Do I Get The Candle To Last Longer?

To get the best burn out of your candles and have them last longer, here are three things you can do to help extend the life of the candle:

  • Keep your wicks trimmed to 1/4 inch at all times.
  • Avoid putting the candle near vents, fans or drafts that may move the wick during the burn.
  • Give your candle a “full” burn to allow the wax to melt from edge to edge in the container.

What If The Candle Gets Dirty With Dust?

Depending on how you store your candles there is a chance of dust or dirt getting on the top of the wax. Before burning, remove any dust or debris from the top to avoid any disturbance of the flame. You can do this by using a microfiber cloth or old pantyhose/tights to clean the top of the wax. Do not use any flammable cleaning solutions when cleaning.

How Long Should I Burn The Candle?

A candle should burn for a max of 4 hours, after which you should blow out the flame and allow the candle to cool.

What If The Candle Looks Frosty On The Top?

Our candles are made with pure soy wax, and natural soy blends with coconut wax. The frosting is a crystalline-like appearance, which is a natural characteristic of soy, on the top and sides of your candle. Frosting on candles is a way to tell you to have a natural soy wax candle.

While it may not look aesthetically pleasing, it does not affect the quality or burn of the candle.

What Are Some Of The Benefits Of Using Soy?

Some of the benefits of using soy wax include:

    • Soy wax is vegetable-based wax and are more sustainable.
    • Soy wax contains no toxins, carcinogens, or pollutants and is safe for humans, animals, and the environment.
    • Clean burning with minimal smoke and soot.

What's The Difference Between 1 Wick Vs. Multiple Wicks?

The main difference comes down to preference, room size, and scent intensity. A single wick offers a more steady, subtle hot throw, and is ideal for smaller spaces.
Having multiple wicks is a great option for your candle experience.

Having multiple wicks not only provides a stronger fragrance throw and brighter glow, but it also helps minimize the tunneling effects that sometimes occur with candle wax not being fully melted.

Multiple wicks help to fill larger rooms with more scents and are perfect for larger spaces.

What's The Difference Between Wood and Cotton Wicks?

We use eco-friendly and clean burning wooden wicks. Each wick is hand-crafted and made from fruit trees sourced in the USA from Forest Stewardship Council (FSC)-Certified Mills.

Our cotton wicks are flat braided eco wicks, that improve the overall burn of the candles, made of cotton and specially treated paper filaments. These wicks are self-trimming and curl on each burn to reduce soot buildup. Each wick is designed, with all-natural, unbleached paper fiber.

Are Your candles Phthalate and Paraben-free?

Our oils are sourced from industry suppliers with Phthalate and Paraben-free fragrances.
